Open Blocked Sites in Turkey


Recently, Twitter and YouTube official websites and apps have been banned in Turkey. So what are the steps that can be applied to open blocked sites in Turkey?
To open blocked sites in Turkey, first you'll need to get a VPN account. Getting a VPN account, you will be able to connect to server located outside Turkey and therefore replace your IP address with one that is not banned from accessing Twitter or YouTube.

After getting a VPN account, establish a VPN connection on your device.

How to establish a VPN connection to open blocked sites in Turkey on iPhone or iPad?

Starting from home screen, go to "Settings" then proceed to "General".
From "Network" menu, select "VPN".
Tap on the "Add VPN Configuration" option then "L2TP"
Description: (the VPN server's address or IP)
Server: (again the VPN server's address or IP)
Account: (your VPN account's username)
Password: (your VPN account's password)
Secret: sharedsecret
Send All Traffic should be ON.
Tap on "Save" and turn the connection ON.
When the VPN badge appears on the title bar, this means you're connected and you can open blocked sites in Turkey.

How to establish a VPN connection to open blocked sites in Turkey on Android phones and tablets?

Starting from home screen, go to "Menu" then proceed to "Settings".
From the "Wireless and network" menu, select "VPN settings".
Tap on the "Add VPN" option then "Add L2TP/IPSec PSK VPN".
VPN name: (the VPN server's address or IP)
Set VPN server: (again the VPN server's address or IP)
      Set IPsec pre-shared key: sharedsecret
DNS search domains: 8.8.8.8
Tap on the "Menu" then "Save".

If a window appears asking you to set a password for credential storage, just set any password you like.
Now you should see the VPN connection on the list.
Tap on it and authorization window will appear.
Username: (your VPN account's username)
 Password: (your VPN account's password)
When the VPN is connected, you should see the VPN icon in the top bar and you should be able to open blocked sites in Turkey.
